OUTPATIENT CLINICS
With a focus on geriatric care and the support of world-
renowned physicians, the outpatient clinics at Baycrest offer
specialized assessment, treatment, support and education to
patients seeking help for diverse health concerns.
The expertise of the clinicians and staff is integral to the
spectrum of care that Baycrest prides itself on providing to
members of our community.
Some of our specialized services include:
Alpha Omega Dental Centre: The state-of-the-art centre for
evidence-based geriatric dentistry fills a void in comprehensive
services tailored to older adults who are physically and
medically unable to access care in private practice settings.
Among its clientele are patients who are cognitively impaired,
medically complex and physically disabled or frail. A specialized
lift allows patients to receive dental treatment in a wheelchair.
The clinic is the only one of its kind in central Canada and is a
leading training centre for geriatric dental care affiliated with
the University of Toronto.
