An Accreditation Canada team that evaluated more than 1,500 standard practices awarded Baycrest "Exemplary Standing" for meeting a remarkable 99.9 per cent of its criteria. For two years running, Baycrest has been recognized as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People. As a geriatric teaching hospital affiliated with the U of T, Baycrest is a training ground for students, providing internships, fellowships and residencies to professionals and institutions locally, nationally and internationally.
