Communicable disease screening
If you have any of the following symptoms, please call your
supervisor and do not come to Baycrest:
• Respiratory symptoms, including cough, runny nose, difficulty
breathing, chest pain or sore throat
• Headache
• Fever (greater than 38C)
• Muscle or joint aches with weakness
• Diarrhea and/or vomiting – you must have been free of
symptoms for 48 hour
s from the last episode before you may
return
Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids Adsorbed – required every 10
years
• Also known as Tetanus booster/shot vaccination are required
and the date of the last vaccination must be given to Volunteer
Services.

Baycrest is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace
free from actual, attempted or threatened violence or harassment.
Baycrest recognizes
that workplace violence and harassment
prevention is a key health and safety priority and will take every
reasonable precaution to prevent workplace violence and
harassment and to protect employees and volunteers at the
workplace.
Baycrest will not tolerate incidents of workplace violence
perpetrated against or by any employee, physician, volunteer,
private companion, student, family
member, contractor, visitor or
any
other person at a Baycrest workplace or involved in Baycrest
business.
Everyone at Baycrest is responsible for acting in compliance with
this policy and preventing violence in the workplace.
