If there is an emergency
situation at Baycrest, follow
the emergency response plan.
If assistance is required
during any situation,
volunteers should ask a
Baycrest employee for help
and staff will direct you on the
proper procedure.
Please remain in your area
and await further instructions
or until the "All Clear" is
announced.

Fire safety
Fires are the highest risk to a healthcare facility. It is important to
be prepared and try to prevent them.
If you hear a fire alarm:
• Stop all activities
• Do not move through the facility unless directed by a staff
member or fire department personnel
• Stay in place until an "all clear"
is heard on the overhead PA
