56 T H E B R A I N P R O J E C T 2 0 1 9 Inspiration for this piece steps from the icon of Pac-Man. Orit visualized the cells in the brain as small dots and the Pac-Man (the disease) eating them up slowly. She chose to leave some of the paths without dots because the Pac-Man already ate them, and they are already lost. Although the idea for the piece came to Orit immediately, the creation was more complicated. The sculpure is painted with car paint that is suitable to stand outdoors in extreme weather conditions. THE BRAIN EATER By Orit Fuchs SPONSORED BY: Although the disease [Alzheimer's] is difficult, it can be presented with humour. There are always two options for observation, depending on which side you choose. I always choose to see things at an optimistic angle with humour. This is life.
