Members of the community came to the rescue with generous donations to help with these significant and sudden expenses. Baycrest also sprang into action to help alleviate loneliness after visiting restrictions were announced. Support from kind and thoughtful donors enabled the purchase of equipment to increase telemedicine, and introduce eVisits and virtual recreational programming to promote the well-being of seniors. Thank you to everyone who is helping to safeguard seniors. Special thanks to these generous $1,000-plus donors. 24 BrainMatters FALL|WINTER 2020
