Training of Executive Attention (TEA) is designed to teach participants strategies to
improve their ability to achieve goals by sustaining their attention and staying focused.
Eligibility: The TEA program is designed for older adults who have difficulties with
executive functioning, including those with stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis,
anoxia, and mood disorders.
A referral from a physician, psychologist or rehabilitation therapist is required and
can be faxed to 416-785-4235.
Fee: A charge of $50 covers the cost of a workbook and other materials that are used for
in-between session assignments.
SAM AND IDA ROSS MEMORY CLINIC
Memory and other changes may occur because of normal aging or due to a number of
different medical or emotional concerns. At the Sam and Ida Ross Memory Clinic, the
healthcare team will assess, diagnose and provide interventions to help individuals and
their caregivers. Each patient is seen by a team of specialists according to individual needs.
Patients are referred to the Memory Clinic due to:
• Changes in memory
• Difficulty with language
• Changes in behaviour
