CENTRE FOR AGING + BRAIN HEALTH INNOVATION
Baycrest is home to the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI), established in 2015,
leveraging a historic initial contribution of $124 million from the Governments of Canada and
Ontario, the Baycrest Foundation and numerous other public and private sector partners.
As Canada's premier solution accelerator targeting innovations in the aging and brain health sector,
with a focus on dementia, CABHI has established itself as a global leader within the innovation
ecosystem. CABHI validates innovations in real-world care settings, and supports innovators in the
spread, scale and adoption of these solutions across Canada and around the world. CABHI aims to
identify and advance the most promising innovations to optimize brain health in aging adults, to
support the growth and success of entrepreneurs, and to improve the lives of individuals at risk for
and living with dementia and their caregivers. Working with partners, CABHI is inspiring a shift in the
culture of the aging and brain health sector, creating a strong culture of innovation in seniors' care.
