MOVEMENT DISORDERS CLINIC
Funded through a generous donation from the Jeff
and Diane Ross Foundation, the Jeff and Diane
Ross Movement Disorders Clinic is a collaborative,
interprofessional program provided jointly by Baycrest
and the Assistive Technology Clinic (ATC).
The clinic offers expert medical and rehabilitation
management, as well as education and leading-edge
assistive technology in the areas of mobility aids,
augmentative communication devices and computerized
applications to meet the needs of patients with
Parkinson's Disease (PD) and other movement disorders.
The team devises innovative control interfaces with
computers that allow patients to communicate
effectively and control their environments, all with the
touch of a switch or the blink of an eye.
The clinic sees adult patients aged 18 and older. A
doctor's referral is required.
