Research strengths include cognitive neuroscience, aging and brain health, Alzheimer's
and related dementias, and neuroinformatics, often within the context of how we can
prevent, detect and treat dementia in all of its forms.
Our staff includes 27 scientists (including four Canada Research Chairs, one Canada
150 Research Chair and five endowed research chairs), postdoctoral fellows and
graduate students, summer and co-op undergraduate students, research and support
staff and visiting scientists. Researchers have on-site access to state-of-the-art
neuroimaging facilities, including tools such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),
magnetoencephalography (MEG) and electroencephalography (EEG). Researchers also
have access to tools such as eye tracking, gait analysis and brain stimulation.
