VIRTUAL CARE
Baycrest continues to innovate, expand and enhance
virtual care to complement the many in-person programs
that improve life for the people we serve. Finding new
ways of assisting seniors, particularly those who have
trouble accessing our health and social services, is
essential to help keep people healthier longer and in their
own communities. Examples of this include the Virtual
Behavioural Medicine Program and Baycrest@Home.
Additionally, we have built up a stronger technology base
and have a device management system, which includes
tablets and laptops for use by staff and clients. Virtual
volunteers have been trained to provide technical support
to older adults in the community so they are able to access
a range of virtual programs and services.
