RETAIL The Creative Arts Store sells items made by clients at the Donald and Elaine Rafelman Creative Arts Studio, which is supported by our donors. The wide array of beautifully crafted products includes crocheted blankets, mittens, jewelry, scarves and pottery. Proceeds from the store benefit the Creative Arts Studio and Culture & Arts program at Baycrest. ART AT BAYCREST Baycrest is adorned with one of the finest art collections in Toronto, thanks to the generosity of many kind donors. This includes the Ronald and Nancy Kalifer Culture Hub in the Winter Garden, which displays curated works of art in a welcoming environment. The Baycrest art collection awakens memories, encourages dialogue and inspires the sharing of ideas. It beautifies common areas and living spaces for residents and visitors alike and supports interactive, educational experiences for older adults. 92 | BAYCREST VIEWBOOK 2021
