MORRIS AND SALLY JUSTEIN HERITAGE MUSEUM
Located on the main floor between the Kimel Family Building and the Baycrest Hospital, the
museum is an oasis of calm on the Baycrest campus where visitors can learn about Judaic history
and tradition.
In 2015, Baycrest launched the 10-year Kalifer Family Oral History and Legacy
Project, which includes a museum-on-wheels cart that transports artifacts to residents' floors.
JACOB FAMILY THEATRE
The Jacob Family Theatre at the Posluns Auditorium opened in March 2013 with the support of
Ellis Jacob, President and CEO of Cineplex. The impressive 170-seat multi-use theatre serves as
a cinema for residents, families and caregivers, as well as a venue for education, professional
development and other events.
Book the theatre for your next event! The kosher venue is available for corporate and social,
including conferences, annual general meetings, seminars, community gatherings, bar/bat
mitzvahs, family reunions, concerts and film screenings. The theatre has a large stage and a

GARDENS
Baycrest is situated on 23 acres of land in north Toronto. Our green space, numerous gardens
and a beautiful meandering walking path between buildings provide residents, patients and their
families with the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature.
Generous donors provide support for many of the gardens at Baycrest, as well as gardening clubs
for patients and residents.
The rooftop Spiro Family Garden is an outdoor sanctuary on the second floor between the
hospital and the Posluns building. Like the other gardens at Baycrest, it is a place where staff
members can meet, and patients can visit with family or enjoy the outdoors.
