15 # N O B L A N K B R A I N S Andrea Pascual is a Filipino-Canadian artist and leather goods designer currently based in Toronto. She graduated from OCAD University and The Fashion Institute of Technology. Andrea expresses herself through art experiments that explore typography, leatherwork, illustration and fashion. Her leather goods were featured in Flare Magazine and she was a finalist in The Independent Handbag Designer Awards. As a proud contributing artist to the Yogen Früz Brain Project, Andrea is a firm believer in the power of art as a catalyst for social awareness and change. What Do You See? Andrea Pascual Artist Statement This brain is inspired by Rorschach inkblot tests, which are used as psychological tests. This design, however, is not a test – it is a celebration of our brain's imagination, intelligence and creativity. The viewer is encouraged to utilize and realize the magnificence of their brain when viewing this contemporary inkblot. Sponsored by:
