An Evening of Celebration
More than 650 people celebrated 90 years of Baycrest breakthroughs and five leading couples
last October in Toronto. The gala evening paid special tribute to Florence and Sydney Cooper,
Sara and Harry Gorman, Joyce and Wilfred Posluns, Honey and Barry Sherman, and Fran
and Ed Sonshine for their years of dedication and support.
Organized by the Women's Auxiliary of the Baycrest Foundation, the evening was a stunning
success, raising more than $1.2 million.

Women of Baycrest
Fashion entrepreneur Lynn Posluns is the driving force behind
Women of Baycrest, a new annual fundraising campaign to promote
research on women's brains.
"Women want to know why they're more susceptible to brain
diseases such as Alzheimer's and what they can do to maintain
their physical and mental wellness as they get older," says WB
chair Posluns who is seeking to raise $3 million to support a chair
in women's brain health and aging at Baycrest.
WB chair Lynn Posluns introduces Dr. Tiffany Chow, a neurologist
and researcher at Baycrest's Sam and Ida Ross Memory Clinic,
at the WB campaign launch party in January.
