BrainMatters • Spring/Summer 2022 • 23 In November 2021, The Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI) opened its doors to welcome Minister Jill Dunlop from the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) for a guided tour of CABHI-supported aging and brain health solutions. Therapeutic recreation staff hosted a"Hawaiian Day" for residents of the Apotex, Jewish Home. Residents enjoyed Hawaiian-themed music, activities and ice cream. In 2021, Baycrest launched an on-campus COVID-19 vaccine clinic to help vaccinate staff, caregivers and support workers. Leading economist Benjami Tal, Deputy Chief Economist at CIBC, speaking at "Where are we headed?", an exclusive virtual event hosted by The Baycrest Real Estate Professionals in January 2022. Appreciation treats were provided to Baycrest staff as part of "We Heart Baycrest" day. Thanks to Tim Horton's, the Mae Day Foundation, and Laura Secord for their donations of coffee, cookies and chocolate.
