The Kosher Kitchen
The kosher kitchen at Baycrest is the heart of our organization and our extended community.
It is deeply valued by the people who rely on it for nutritious meals.
The kitchen is a one-of-its-kind service that prepares more than one million meals each
year for our residents and patients, the Meals on Wheels program throughout the city, and
hospital patients throughout Ontario.
The kitchen is vital for preserving our roots and legacy of keeping kosher for our Jewish
community.
For the past few years, we have reached out to donors to raise funds in order to replace the
deteriorating equipment and ensure we can continue to provide excellent kosher meals.
We are extremely grateful for your generous response and your kind support.
We also want to thank the Women Friends of Baycrest who chose the kitchen as the focus
of their fundraising efforts in 2022. We are incredibly grateful to this group of women for
their tireless efforts and their generosity.
