Beyond Baycrest Campus
Baycrest continues to supply food to hospitals throughout Ontario — including Niagara,
Grey-Bruce and as far away as Ottawa — when they have patients who request kosher meals.
Our Meals on Wheels relationship with Circle of Care continues to supply people
throughout north Toronto with prepared food. Volunteers routinely arrive at a pick-up
point next to the kosher kitchen at Baycrest to gather the meals, which are packaged
carefully in paper bags for delivery to grateful recipients throughout the community.
In the month of August alone, Baycrest supplied Meals on Wheels clients with:
• 10,369 frozen meal trays
• 538 soup packs (3 soups per pack)
Recent Upgrades Make Food Prep Easier
Thanks to your support, we have outfitted the kitchen with a wide range of upgraded and
new equipment, including large items such as freezers, a soup kettle, blixer, commercial
meat slicer and a double convection oven.
