2 About the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness The Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health & Wellness is the first research-based community centre dedicated to reducing dementia risk and promo healthy brain aging. As a Kimel Family Centre member who is enrolled in the research study, you will receive a comprehensive dementia risk evaluation, and our team of experts, led by Dr. Howard Chertkow, MD, Scientific Director, and Dr. Nicole Anderson, PhD, Associate Scientific Director, will develop a personalized programming strategy based on your specific risk factors. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and resources necessary to maintain healthy brain aging throughout your life. Open to adults aged 50 and over, our programs focus on areas such as diet and nutrition, social engagement, cognitive engagement, physical activity, and mood/psychology.
