3 Foundational Courses Fixed Program: You must start on the first day of the class series (i.e. you have to start at week 1 because each week builds skills upon skills). Flex Program: You can jump into the class at any week (i.e.. you can join at week 4 without having been in weeks 1-3). SMART Goal Setting Foundational Courses/Compulsory Lauren Spinelli This foundational course on SMART Goal Setting was built on evidence-based strategies that have proven to be effective in bringing about positive behavioural changes. By setting goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound, you'll gain clarity and direction in your actions, and build practical methods to make lasting improvements in your life. This pre- recorded digital lecture is available to watch at home and review throughout the term. Online Video Lecture Available for the full Winter 2024 term In this course, you will learn how good nutrition can improve your brain health. You will also hear about the Brain Health Food Guide and receive tips and resources on meal planning for continued wellness. Two sessions per offering, fixed Activity Room A Tuesdays, 2 - 3:30 p.m. Jan. 23 and 30 Feb. 6 and 13 (in-person) Mar. 12 and 19 Apr. 9 and 16 (Zoom) These bi-weekly workshops are an opportunity to work with facilitators and connect with peers to help keep you on track with ongoing reflection and refinement of your goals. Through these sessions you will be able to monitor your accomplishments, identify potential challenges, and make necessary adjustments along the way.
