29 Together In Movement and Exercise (TIME™) Functional Training/Balance, Flexibility and Mobility Alyssa Manalo & Kinesiology Students Exercise & Falls Prevention Functional Training/Balance, Flexibility and Mobility Laura Niman Together In Movement and Exercise (TIME™) is a community-based program welcoming people with balance and mobility challenges to exercise. The course focuses on functional mobility exercises, done mostly while standing, with hand supports available to assist with balance. Join for low impact exercises with high impact results! Working various muscle groups from head to toe, our focus is to build upon our core muscles to help improve our balance and provide overall confidence and stability on our feet. All fitness levels are welcome to join in the class as many modifications can be made. 10 week program, flex Activity Room A Jan. 19 to Mar. 22 Fridays, 10 - 11 a.m. 10 week program, flex Activity Room A Feb. 15 to Apr. 18 Thursdays, 1:30 - 2:15 p.m. Osteofit Functional Training/Strength & Conditioning Julie Andrade Fitness Fundamentals Functional Training/Strength & Conditioning Colin Blayney Osteofit is designed to improve strength, balance and coordination as well as functional ability, independence, and quality of life, and is especially safe for those with osteoporosis and osteopenia. The class is divided into two parts: a cardio choreography routine involving weight-bearing and a strength and balance training for building muscle. Join us for a muscular conditioning class that will leave you standing taller and looking lighter. Together, we will work on core activation, posture, and balance, as well as learn important techniques to improve lifting and carrying for activities of daily living. Exercises are safe even if you have osteoporosis or osteopenia. 12 week program, flex Activity Room A Jan. 24 to Apr. 10 Wednesdays, 2 - 3 p.m. 8 week program, flex Stan's Gym Jan. 17 to Mar. 6 Wednesdays, 3 - 4 p.m.
