7 Realistic Crepe Paper Flowers Mixed Media/Class Series Nancy Lalicon 4 week program, flex Activity Room B Jan. 24 to Feb. 14 Wednesdays, 2 - 4 p.m. Come join us to explore and create beautiful realistic crepe paper flowers. Each class will focus on techniques to make a different part of the flower. Start with an introduction to the basics of stretching and shaping the paper, then continue on by making pods out of dry clay, and making leaves/branches. At the end of the course, you will have a beautiful flower bouquet. Collaging a Memory Mixed Media/Class Series Rakefet Arieli 6 week program, fixed Activity Room B Mar. 3 to Apr. 7 Sundays, 2 - 3:30 p.m. Through collaging activities we will recreate and capture a feeling or memory from a specific moment in time. The collage that each of the participants created, will be a page from their story that could be shared with the group and others. Make Your Own Recycled Paper Mixed Media/Workshop Heidi Breier One-time workshop Creative Arts Studio Jan. 15 Monday, 5:30 - 7 p.m. Learn about the ancient craft of hand papermaking and the ins and outs of recycling paper in this fun and easy workshop. Take home some of your own completely unique handmade sheets! Perfect for beginners. All tools and supplies provided. Torn Paper Mosaic Art Mixed Media/Workshop Paulina Perez One-time workshop Creative Arts Studio Jan. 15 Monday, 10 - 11:30 a.m. Join us for a series on Torn Paper Mosaic Art, where we will learn about this medium while creating landscapes together. This workshop will utilize painted paper, magazines, oil pastels, and markers.
