Explore the process of creating a photographic
portrait. We will discuss identity, race, gender,
culture, and agency when using photography to
define ourselves, visually. Learn portrait styles
and techniques, both historical and contemporary.
We will work towards creating our own portraits
by the end of the course. No prior experience
necessary.
