27 Together In Movement and Exercise (TIME™) Functional Movement/Balance, Gait, and Mobility Eliana Benia / Nikkita Mahabir / Maya Khemlin Together In Movement and Exercise (TIME™) is a community-based program welcoming people with balance and mobility challenges to exercise. The course focuses on functional mobility exercises, done mostly while standing, with hand supports available to assist with balance. Dates Day Time Sessions/Type May 5 to Sun 10:15 - 5 weeks, flex Jun 2 11:15 a.m. WalkFit: Start-Where- You-Are Walking Program Functional Movement/Balance, Gait, and Mobility Marc Espinet Come learn walking technique, posture, and stretches. We will also discuss how to enhance speed and intensity while still keeping in mind safety and fun. You'll not only boost your mood, strengthen your bones, and improve your balance, you'll also get to socialize with your peers. Dates Day Time Sessions/Type May 6 to Mon 2 - 3 p.m. 16 weeks, flex Aug 26 (excl. May 20, Jul 1 + Aug 5) Stable Steps: Balance and Fall Prevention Essentials Functional Movement/Balance, Gait, and Mobility Loïse Perruchoud The Stable Steps program helps you strengthen your core, boost flexibility, and master stability in daily activities. You will learn the basics of body mechanics, advanced balance strategies, and learn how to create a safer home environment to reduce fall risks. Brain Boost is a course designed to enhance cognitive function and reduce the risk of dementia with exercises proven to increase overall physical health, brain health, and cognitive resilience. Participants will engage in a series of tailored exercises that stimulate creation of new brain cells, enhance memory, focus, and overall mental agility.
