Figure 26 displays the value of grants awarded from external sources alongside the number of
publications since 1989.

The RRI's publications and the value of external grants received each year, over the past 25
years, have been increasing with the same trend (Figure 26). A correlation analysis indicated
that the value of external grants and the number of publications are associated with each other,
r(25) = 0.83, p < .001, two-tailed.
