A) Journal articles per year, n=1,454 B) Review articles per year, n=144 The number of publications has been growing since 1989, and since 2007 the RRI has maintained a production of more than 100 articles each year, except for 2008 in which there are 91articles present in the Scopus database. The number of reviews published by scientists at the RRI has been also increasing. However the growth trend for this type of publication shows more variability than article's publication trend. 2 . 1 . 2 T o p j o u r n a l s f o r pu b l i c a t i o n The top four journals containing the highest number of RRI's publications are highlighted in Table 1. The journals with the highest impact factor are J Neurosci and Neuroimage with 7.87 and 7.06 impact factors respectively. Table 1.
