RTC Annual Report 2014 - 2015 RTC Annual Report 2014 - 2015 1 The Research Training Centre (RTC) provide s a coordinated and integrated approach to technical and professional training that supports and promotes research excellence and enriches the experience of research trainees and other staff at Baycrest . In 2014 - 2015, the RTC initiated a bold new vision of expanding and diversifying its offerings as well as broadening its educational influence and impact across local and provincial academic communities through strategic relationships and partnerships. Research Training Partnerships 2 Key highlights include: Rotman Research Rounds – a 27 - w eek academic lecture series featuring Baycrest and international leaders in cognitive neuroscience (Page 7) Academic & Professional Development Workshops – 7 workshops to build trainees' technical neuroscience as well as broader professional skills (Page 1 1) Experiential Internship Program – 8 volunteer and paid placements to help trainees develop their transferable skills, build a broader network, and acquire job experiences (Page 13)
