This initiative is led by Nina Kassett (now at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute) and Daisy Yang, ASP clinical pharmacists as well as Dr. Aidlee Craft and Dr. Michael Kirzner, attending physicians. The KLAERU team has provided project management support, managed study interns and volunteers, obtained Research Ethics Board approvals, extracted antimicrobial outcome data from Meditech for over 2,500 cases, completed a full statistical analysis, and is now collaborating in the manuscript process. The KLAERU team also provided editorial support in preparing materials for the ASP team to present their work at the Family Medicine Forum (November 2014). The KLAERU-ASP team hopes to submit a manuscript for publication in fall 2015. In the coming year, KLAERU will continue to work with teams across the organization.
