13 The KL‐CARE Team KL‐CARE Teaching & Training PEKING UNION MEDICAL COLLEGE Since 2012, the Baycrest Centre for Educaon and Knowledge Exchange in Aging has hosted approximately 20 medical and nursing students from Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) each summer. The PUMC students visit Baycrest for approximately four weeks to learn more about geriatric care, shadow Baycrest clinical staff, and understand the role of research in the geriatric context. In the 2015‐2016 fiscal year, the KL‐ CARE team partnered with the Centre for Educaon and Knowledge Exchange in Aging to facilitate clinical research educaon modules for the vising students. CLINICAL PASTORAL EDUCATION (CPE) PROGRAM Baycrest is a teaching site for Clinical Pastoral Educaon (CPE) which is a program affiliated with the Toronto Schools of Theology at the University of Toronto in the training of Master of Divinity (M.Div) students in chaplaincy. In the 2015‐2016 fiscal year, the KL‐CARE team coordinated and presented a workshop on basic research methods for M. Div students.
