13 RTC Annual Report 2015 - 2016 As a key part of its mandate, the RTC is focuse d on cultivating professional and transferable skills and providing tangible work experiences to trainees to prepare them for any vocational future . In addition to our classic offerings such as Ho w to create an academic job talk, grant w riting 101, and A c ademic and Non - academic career n ights, the RTC delivered new career and professional development offerings in research commercialization and entrepreneurship, research leadership , and research project management. The RTC coordinated the delivery of 12 care er & professional development workshops to an audience of approximately 200 attendees.
