15 RTC Annual Report 2015 - 2016 Experiential Opportunities – Summer Student Prog ram The RRI Summer Student Program is a 12 - week, paid research internship for undergraduate students to work in the laboratory of an RRI scientist conducting active research. Key objectives for the program include: • providing hands - on research experience to undergraduates • providing educati onal and career mentorship in cognitive neuroscience research • expanding trainee research capacity at the RRI In summer 2015, a total of 15 students were selected to work with participating RRI scientists.
