18 RTC Annual Report 2015 - 2016 In recognition of the unique stressors experienced by research trainees, the RTC initiated a new wor kshop series for trainees focused on providing strategies to enhance overall physical and mental wellness. The RTC partnered with key Baycrest stakeholders at the Centre for Learning, Research and Innovation (CLRI) in Long - Term Care, Therapeutic Recreatio n, Occupational Therapy, Culture, Arts, and Innovation , and Volunteer Services to develop and deliver these offerings. As part of this mandate, the RTC and Baycrest trainees participated in various outreach events in 2015 - 2016. In May 2015, the RTC hosted students from the Tiferes Bais Yaakov School. Stude nts toured the research facilities and attended a lecture about human memory from former post - doctoral fellow and current RRI scientist, Dr. Rosanna Olsen. In 2015 - 2016, the RTC o ffered four workshops across a diverse range of wellness str ategies and approaches to approximately 50 trainees and staff.
