Community helps raise funds for Baycrest
O
ver the course of 2016, Baycrest Foundation's new and signature events raised awareness and vital funds to help
redefine the journey of aging at every age and every stage, and to advance care practices through research
into brain health. Thank you to our community leaders, donors, participants and celebrities for their tremendous
contributions, support and passion. Top left quadrant: The Brain Project presented by Telus captured the news cycle
this summer and featured our tireless Global Ambassador, actress Sarah Rafferty. Bottom Left quadrant: The Red
Carpet Stage and Screen Series, led by Event Chair Wendy Switzer Myles, used film and comedy to raise funds and
awareness for Baycrest. Top right quadrant: Terraces of
Baycrest resident, 103-year-old Kitty Cohen, showed
what it means to add life to years by running the bases
with the Blue Jays, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Bottom right
quadrant: The 21st Barrie to Baycrest (B2B) charity bike
ride engaged a new generation of riders who now carry
the event on their shoulders and into a bright future. We
look forward to more successes in the months and years
to come! Visit us at: baycrest.org/give/events/
