KUNIN-LUNENFELD CENTRE FOR APPLIED RESEARCH &
EVALUATION (KL-CARE)
In 2016, the Kunin-Lunenfeld Applied & Evaluative Research Unit (KLAERU) and the Program
Evaluation Unit (PEU) at Baycrest merged to form the new Kunin-Lunenfeld Centre for Applied
Research & Evaluation (KL-CARE). KL-CARE is a support and services hub focused on working
with healthcare professionals, researchers, trainees, and commercial partners to facilitate and
support applied and evaluative research at Baycrest in order to ultimately improve client care.
The KL-CARE team provides expertise and services that span the research spectrum, including
study/trial design, research ethics board applications, participant recruitment, data collection,
data management, data analysis, and knowledge translation and dissemination.
