In Collaboration with University of Toronto Multiculturalism in Medicine Society, we offered sessions on
Multiculturalism in Medicine for first year Medical students to expose them to the cultural differences
they may encounter as future physicians and to highlight how important it is to appropriately
incorporated culture in the delivery of care. Students are provided with a tour of Baycrest and a session
led by Rabbi Rena Arshinoff on Jewish culture and the programs Baycrest offer to address cultural
specific needs. 12 medical students participated in this program.
