The artist is known for images of dreamy large-scale beaches and romantic European
vistas – faraway places that impart a nostalgic mood. Self Reflections conveys the
core purpose of his art. The brain is spray-coated in a glossy chameleon pigment,
inspiring people to reflect on their own lives. The paint shifts colour as the viewer
moves around the brain, and the mirror-like surface alters the reflection. Much
like our own brains, every image in life is viewed differently from one person to the
next, as our individual networks, composed of memories and experiences, form our
current thoughts, emotions and perspectives on our reality.
