must improve the health of the communities where
we live, work and serve, and one of the ways we
support our communities is by partnering with
organizations to address critical health issues.
Putting brain health top of mind for thousands
of Canadians is integral to building strong, healthy
communities, and that is why TELUS is proud
to partner with the Baycrest Foundation and to
support The Brain Project.
Baycrest's innovative approach to rethinking
brain health and vision of a world in which
people can age in the setting of their choice
while maintaining their cognitive, emotional and
physical well-being inspired our commitment to
support this important cause. Through our shared
vision of harnessing the power of technology to
improve health outcomes for Canadians, we set
out to make brain health a priority.
As a catalyst for discussion and awareness of
aging and brain health, the creative and thought-
provoking Brain Project shined a much needed
light on the importance of cognitive and emotional
well-being for older adults and the need for
more research into how we can maintain optimal
cognitive well-being. By raising awareness for
brain health related issues and by making people
more aware of the importance of their brain health,
The Brain Project helped build brighter, healthier
futures for this generation and those to come.
