This manual is dedicated with thanks and appreciation and a
generous donation to honour our loving memories of Julie &
Joseph Abraham.
The end of life care, attention and compassion provided to our
mother during her last three weeks while in the Shirley and
Philip Granovsky Palliative Care Unit at Baycrest were
exemplary. We were truly touched by the kindness and
understanding of the staff and doctors at a very difficult time.
We would like to thank the wonderful caregivers and volunteers
for their dedication and hard work, and for helping us navigate
through a very emotional experience.
