ABOUT THE
TELUS HEALTH
BRAIN PROJECT
Baycrest's citywide, art-based initiative capti-
vated Torontonians and visitors alike in 2017.
Imagine the delight of unsuspecting tour-

Square at City Hall and discovered a profes-

by Canadian and international artists.
People saw the many extraordinary ways in
which artists perceive the human brain and

locations throughout the city, and moments

Chicago and New York.
Baycrest is a world leader in care, education,
research and innovation related to brain
health and aging—and Godfrey realized a
bold public exhibition of brain sculptures
in Toronto would raise awareness about the
organization's work and the importance of
brain health.
A volunteer committee co-chaired by
Godfrey, her husband Noah, Ben and Jessica
Mulroney, and supported by a team of
enthusiastic staff members, found generous
sponsors, artists, curators and others who
helped bring the idea to life.
The first exhibit of brain sculptures by 100
emerging and renowned artists, celebrities
and thought-leaders graced the Distillery
District, Union Station and many other public
