To achieve our Vision of a world where every older adult enjoys a life of purpose, inspiration and fulfilment, Baycrest will accelerate our strategic partnerships across the private and public sectors. We know that no single sector will be able to tackle our complex challenges alone. Baycrest will be a catalyst and instrumental partner in ground-breaking ventures aimed at revolutionizing brain health and aging. This Goal is about spreading Baycrest's leading practices and learning new ideas from others that will benefit our clients and residents. The Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI), a unique collaboration among health care, science, industry and government, along with initiatives such as Baycrest Global Solutions (BGS) and Cogniciti, will be driving forces in our approach to commercial partnerships. Cogniciti is already helping to reshape brain health with its online assessment tool for Canadians who are concerned about memory loss. A private digital health firm co-founded by Baycrest and MaRS, Cogniciti is contributing to the development of the next generation of therapies that will delay and even prevent dementia in the future. To be the commercial partner of choice and continue to spur investment in sustainable solutions for the care of older adults, Baycrest will pursue two key objectives. 1. Continue to pursue entrepreneurial, growth opportunities with private-sector partners through Baycrest Global Solutions (BGS) and Cogniciti to disseminate our expertise while generating new sources of revenue. 2. Working with the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI), develop and implement sustainable, mutually beneficial engagement strategies with industry and investment sector partners to enhance the creation, dissemination and broad adoption of innovative solutions.
