Moving Forward
Over the course of our previous Strategic Plan and during the many engagement sessions
to develop the Inspired Aging plan, it has become obvious that something incredible is
happening at Baycrest.
Across the organization we realize that the whole of Baycrest is greater than the sum of its
parts. The notions of purpose, fulfilment and inspiration embodied in our new Vision connect
us to one another as staff, clients and members of Baycrest's large community.
Now, we will all work together to put the ideas in our new Strategic Plan into action. All areas
of Baycrest will have their own operational plans for how they will advance the Inspired
Aging plan. We will continuously evaluate and communicate our progress to the Baycrest
community.
The most meaningful measure of our success will be that all of our diverse clients and
residents have an exceptional experience and the highest possible quality of life.
We will also know we are moving in the right direction if staff across our programs and
services feel connected to Baycrest and inspired and supported in their work. Success will be
reflected in having a strong team culture across our entire organization.
And we see our vital relationships with families, clients, donors, volunteers and partners
continue to thrive, spurring new innovations that will make a difference in the lives of older
adults.
We are excited about moving forward together with our Strategic Plan. Thank you for your
collaborative spirit and personal dedication to Baycrest.
Galvanized by our Inspired Aging plan, Baycrest will continue to push the boundaries of aging
and brain health into its second century.
