We spearheaded the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI), the host institution funding millions of dollars for projects that improve aging. With 28 scientists, including four Canada Research Chairs, our Rotman Research Institute's discoveries are advancing global research in these areas. Partnering in our community for dementia care. Baycrest Global Solutions trains and advises other countries interested in learning new approaches to seniors' care, including China and Thailand. One of the largest volunteer databases for dementia studies. The Cogniciti online assessment tool has been used by over 65,000 older adults in 50 countries, providing information which could trigger early dementia diagnosis and treatment. This tool has been used to recruit 700 people for clinical trials in dementia. We are one of only three Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation, funded to enhance long- term care through education, research, innovation, evidence-based service delivery, and knowledge transfer. Our Behavioural Supports Ontario (BSO) teams help older adults in 36 long- term care homes and in the community.
