41 MENTAL HEALTH The Centre for Mental Health at Baycrest has created a mental health website (www.baycrest.org/mentalhealth) that offers information and encouragement to older adults and families affected by late-life depression and behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. DEMENTIA RESOURCES FROM AROUND THE WORLD The Dementia Resources from Around the World webpage, developed by the Centre for Education, provides access to a selection of the best available senior friendly web resources on dementia. It is designed for individuals experiencing symptoms of the disorder and their caregivers. The selected websites provide information on dementia including risk factors, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, strategies to cope with daily life challenges and available support groups. Visit baycrest.org/dementiaresources for more information. LIBRARY The Library offers a specialized range of services to help you find, use and manage information effectively. Its extensive print and online resources are available to staff and students. Students on placement at Baycrest are entitled to borrow books, journals and audiovisual materials from the Baycrest library collection. Baycrest staff and students are advised to discuss their subject matter with the Baycrest librarian early in their research so they can be confident of finding significant and relevant information. The library is on the second floor of the Baycrest Hospital. Open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Call 416-785-2500 ext. 2353. ANNE AND LOUIS PRITZKER WELLNESS LIBRARY The Anne and Louis Pritzker Wellness Library, located on the main floor of the Apotex Centre at Baycrest, is a source of consumer health information for older adults. Visitors to the library will find free pamphlets and fact sheets, books, resources and computer access with bookmarked health websites containing information on medications and medical conditions. Medical and allied health professionals also provide health information educational sessions on a variety of health and wellness topics.
