In this workout, we will incorporate several rounds that alternate between high intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate, followed by short periods of lower intensity movements. 5 week program, flex Tuesdays October 24, 31; November 7, 14, 21 | 10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays October 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22 | 1 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Stan's Gym Class size: 8 Circuit Training Fitness/Muscle Conditioning Risk Factors: social connections, physical activity, mental wellbeing Instructor: Alyssa Manalo/Kinesiology Students Join us for a circuit training workout that mixes cardio and weights and has you in and out of the gym within 45 minutes. 9 Week Program October 22, 29; November 5, 12, 19, 26; December 3, 10, 17 12:45 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Pool Class size: 10 Aqua Zumba Aquatics/Aquatic Fitness Risk Factors: social connections, physical activity, mental wellbeing Instructor: Denise Acton Aqua Zumba combines traditional elements of an aqua fitness class with the upbeat Latin infused music and dance moves typical of Zumba. Aqua Zumba is a fun and challenging, low-im- pact body toning workout that feels like a pool party. 10 Week Program Thursdays, Oct 19 until Dec 21 9:15 a.m. - 10 a.m. Pool Class size: 10 Aquatic Fitness Masterclass Aquatics/Aquatic Fitness Risk Factors: social connections, physical activity, mental wellbeing Instructor: Joanne Hannan Looking for a challenge? This class is specifically designed for those who are looking for a more intense workout. Enjoy a mix of muscular strength and cardiovascular training by alternating periods of hard work and recovery. Leave feeling rejuvenated and with a greater sense of wellbeing. Please bring a towel. Mondays, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesdays, 4 p.m.- 7 p.m. Thursdays, 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. ; Fridays 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Pool Class size: 6 Open Swim Open Swim/Open Swim Risk Factors: social connections, physical activity, mental wellbeing Instructor: N/A Open swim provides a chance to have fun and enjoy the water in a more open and unstructured way. Feel free to use the equipment available at the pool. We encourage everyone to swim with a buddy as our pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please note that registration is required for these drop-in times. During these time slots, you're able to train freely and use all of the equipment available.
