The highest number of postdoctoral trainees enrolled in the RRI occurred in 1999-2003 and in
2009-2013, with 48 (28%) and 42 (25%) postdoctoral trainees respectively. The length of
postdoctoral training at the RRI was also analyzed and is depicted in Figure 16.

From a group of 137 postdoctoral trainees that have records of start and end dates in the in-
house RRI database, approximately 21% engaged in a two-year training, 36 % in a three-year
training, and 30% in a four-year training.
This data indicates that there is a tendency to engage in a three- to four-year postdoctoral
training at the RRI.
